Polyethylene (PE)
Properties:
It is divided into high-pressure, medium-pressure and low-pressure polyethylene. High-pressure polyethylene is flexible in texture; low-pressure polyethylene is hard in texture and has good cold resistance, remaining soft at -70℃. It has high chemical stability, can resist acids, alkalis and organic solvents. It has outstanding electrical properties and good radiation resistance. When coated on metal surfaces by flame spraying or electrostatic spraying, it can achieve the purpose of reducing friction and preventing corrosion. The disadvantage is that its mechanical strength is not high, the heat deformation temperature is very low, so it cannot withstand high loads.

Properties:
It has certain mechanical strength, good chemical stability and electrical properties, good light transmission, good coloring, and is easy to shape. Its characteristic is that it can almost completely resist water, but it has low heat resistance, is brittle, and its products are prone to cracking due to internal stress. It can only be used at low loads and temperatures (60-75℃). Purpose:
Various instrument casings, frames, instrument indicator lights, lamp covers, automotive lamp covers, chemical acid storage tanks, acid transportation tanks (especially for hydrofluoric acid), chemical instrument parts, telecommunication parts, due to their good transparency, they can be used as optical instrument parts and lenses.
High impact resistant polystyrene (HIPS)
Properties:
Compared with polystyrene, it has higher toughness and impact resistance, and the other properties are basically similar, and the molding process is good. Purpose:
Various instruments, transistor radio casings, coil frames, textile yarn tubes, TV structural parts, agricultural vehicle water plate accessories and small plastic pipes and plates, etc.
